Mrs. Jordan's high school biology students have been studying the human circulatory system.  Their assignment was to create a more efficient circulatory system for an alien species whose hearts failed when they were young. 


Students were given specific requirements regarding the number of chambers and blood vessels.  In addition to a model heart, students had to design what they believed the alien species looked like.
