HIGH SCHOOL CHORUS CONCERT WILL OPEN “MUSIC IN OUR SCHOOLS MONTH”: MAR. 1, 7PM

Enter the month of March with singing at the “Music in Our Schools Month” Chorus Concert (MIOSM) on Wed., March 1, 7:00 p.m., in the high school auditorium.

All four MVHS choirs will perform under the direction of Mr. Victor Izzo, beginning with an intergalactic opening by our award-winning Chamber Choir.

The admission/donation is $5 per person.  Senior citizens and children under four enter free.

This musical evening will bring you a wide range of entertaining selections. Love will be in the air with the Women’s Chorus performance of “The Rose” and “Songbird.” They will pick up the tempo, and show you their spirit and grit, with Katy Perry’s “Rise” and Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way.”

The Chamber Choir will perform many wonderful and original arrangements including “A Light in the Hallway” by Pentatonix, and Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

The Men’s Ensemble will have you humming along with Bruno Mars’ “Lazy Song” and the timeless, 1947 “Sixteen Tons.” The Mixed Chorus will deliver several danceable arrangements, including Owl City’s “Fireflies.” They invite you to join in on “Sweet Caroline.”

Come out for a delightful evening of singing, and celebrate Music in Our Schools with us.
