MRS. KEPPLER'S 8TH GRADE SOCIAL STUDIES CLASS VISITS FDR MUSEUM

After studying the Great Depression and World War II Mrs. Keppler's 8th grade Social Studies classes attended an educational field trip to the FDR Museum and Library on May 19.  Throughout the day all students experienced a tour of FDR's house as well as a guided tour of the museum and library.  While in the museum students worked in small groups to fill out a guided note sheet. The answers to these questions could be found by looking closely at the different exhibits.  These 8th grade students did a fantastic job of representing Minisink Valley Middle School while being given the opportunity to experience, first hand, a very important piece of local and national history.  It was a wonderful, positive, educational and eye opening experience for all!
