Participants and event coordinators take a lap of honor to thank all 200 enthusiastic guests attending the Third Annual Cardboard Regatta, held Thursday, Jan. 18, at MVHS’s pool.

There were winners, and shipwrecks, but above all there was school and community spirit—the best tribute to the legacy of a beloved teacher. “This event really highlights Chris's personality. He thoroughly enjoyed fun community events with kids, and being a part of a great cause,” said Andrew Mink, MVHS technology teacher and regatta organizer.

This year's regatta raised $300 for The Chris Corwin Scholarship Fund. A scholarship of $2,500 will be presented to a graduate of the Class of 2018, during commencement. Details will be announced in March on our website, and made available to MVHS guidance office.

If you were unable to attend but would like to make a donation to the fund, please make checks payable to the High School Technology Club, and address them to the club, Attn: Andy Mink.
