BUSINESS STUDENTS TAKE THE APPRENTICE CHALLENGE

Each year, high school students in Mrs. Cricchio’s  Business Ownership/Entrepreneurship class break into teams, elect a project manager and enter into an  Apprentice-like challenge to put their business skills to the test.  Challenges included fundraising for local charities and raising money at the Tasty Treats Café alongside students in the Career Achievement Program, with the help of Mrs. Peters.

This year’s winning team was the APT Corp. led by project manager Eric Heinzelmann. Eric was named the 2016 Apprentice. "Persistence, courtesy and the boldness to ask will take you a long way,” Eric said.

“I learned how important it is to get to know the people you are working with. It's critical to identify with their strengths and weaknesses in order for the group to move forward in a positive and profitable way,” said Julia Paone, project manager for Team EXcel.

“The experience taught me how to manage a team and work with others toward a common goal” said Mason Blades, project manager for Magna Bellatorum.

Congratulations to all for a job well done!
