Food is the shortcut to the heart of a culture. On a recent field trip to Le Chambord French restaurant in Hopewell Junction, students in Mr. Gunn’s French class turned to fine cuisine to practice their foreign language skills and broaden their cultural insights.

STUDENT REVIEWS, in English and in French...

--Alex Gray: "The French experience was great fun and very interesting. I learned about the different French foods and customs. The French food was delicious, and I felt like we were in Paris. We should do this trip again next year. I am so grateful to be part of this experience, and I hope to be a part of many more trips.”

--Brandon Bell: “I really enjoyed the cultural experience that Mr. Gunn organized for us. La cuisine Française était exceptionnelle. Tous les étudiants de Français se sont bien amusés. Je vous remercie, Monsieur Gunn. Vive le Français!”

--Emma Krish: “I am lucky to have been to France myself. Le Chambord reminded me of France. My favorite thing was sitting with all my friends and enjoying great food. The restaurant was a very good experience for all of us all, and I hope to take this trip again next year.”
