"DOLSON 31" WILL HANG FROM THE RAFTERS ON DEC. 21: JOIN US!

Minisink’s pride will be on full display on December 21 in the high school auditorium when the athletics program retires the basketball jersey of #31, Stefanie Dolson.

Before playing professionally for the Washington Mystics, Dolson, a 2010 MVHS graduate, led Minisink to four straight sectional basketball title games and remains the highest point scorer in the history of Minisink’s varsity basketball (boys and girls).

She went on to lead the University of Connecticut to two NCAA National Championships and was the sixth overall pick in the WNBA draft. Dolson earned All-Star status in 2015, and plays professionally in Europe during the WNBA off-season.

On December 21, at approximately 6:15 in the high school gymnasium, the athletics program will retire Stefanie Dolson’s jersey. The ceremony will take place between the JV and Varsity basketball games against Kingston.

Many of Dolson’s teammates are expected to join us in honoring her many accomplishments. The athletics department invites the community to make this a very special evening for someone who has made us proud many times over, and continues to be an inspiration to our student athletes.
