Food has always been a bridge between cultures. On a recent field trip to Le Chambord French restaurant in Hopewell Junction, students in Mr. Gunn’s French 3-5 classes turned to fine cuisine to practice their foreign language skills and broaden their cultural insights.

Student Perspectives...

"Every year, our French classes take a trip to a French restaurant. This was my third trip, and it was magnificent, like all the others. The French cuisine was exceptional, and I enjoyed the company of my friends. I thank Mr.Gunn for organizing this cultural experience for us, and for five superb years of French teaching." -- Brandon Bell

"The trip was a great experience. We were exposed to French food, and it was even better that I shared the experience with my classmates." --Julia Ryshkewitch
