New Visions Programs

Thursday, January 15 Orange Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Staff will be at Minisink Valley. See your school counselor for more details.

The Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education Center (CTEC) offers four different New Vision Programs: Education, Engineering, Law and Government and Medical. The New Vision Programs are an in-depth study of professional career opportunities. Students interact with staff in their actual work environment, allowing students to explore a variety of career professions while integrating their academic knowledge with the experience of working in the industry. Students also have the opportunity to earn up to 18-20 college credits, while meeting high school requirements for English 12, Economics and Participation in Government.

Senior Paige Collister tells Colleen Tomesheski and Rachael Skinner about New Visions.
