Chinese New Year

Delayed by the snow, the Chinese New Year Celebration finally arrives!  Students in Mrs. Golden's Kindergarten class celebrate the year of the Tiger.  They read books and poems, counted to five in Mandarin Chinese, and made Lanterns, tiger masks, and a dragon.  The dragon is a symbol of strength, power, and good luck in the Chinese culture.  Otisville Elementary school wishes you much luck and strength in this year of the Tiger.
