IT'S HOT...GRAB A BOWL OF ICE CREAM AND READ A BOOK!

A study by the National Endowment of the Arts makes a strong correlation between daily recreational reading and students' academic success.  Strong literacy skills are linked to higher levels of job success and economic opportunity.  Students learn from their adult role models so, get some ice cream and grab a book this summer.  Share a literacy experience with your child; read aloud, read alone, read together.  Reading is important!
