Mr. Biele, Ms. Dubrovsky, and Mr. Ruiz have been talking with fourth and fifth grade students about character.  Students have learned that their character is defined by the choices they make.  Bullying, both the victim's and perpetrator's roles, has been discussed.  By using role playing, students have learned how to protect themselves against bullies and safely advocate for bullying victims.  Students, as always, have been encouraged to speak with their parents if relationships are troubling them.

"Character is power; it makes friends, draws patronage and support and opens the way to wealth, honor and happiness."  - J. Howe
