How many science experiments can be done with dry ice?  Ask the students at Otisville!  With the help of Mad Science, students learned about sublimation in an entertaining and hands-on assembly.  Sublimation is the process by which dry ice changes from its solid state to a gas.  Dry ice skips the melting process completely, because its original form was never water, but gas.  Rather than evaporate, dry ice goes through a process of sublimation as it seems to "disappear".  Special thanks to our PTO for sponsoring this exciting program.
