The United Nations General Assembly designated September 21 as United Nations International Day of Peace.   Otisville students honored the day by participating in Pinwheels for Peace. The Otisville school community gathered to learn about, celebrate, and give thanks for peace.  Led by Mr. Voss, fifth grade students opened the celebration by singing, Ev'rybody Say Peace.  Kindergarten students read lines from a book about peace.  The fourth grade, led by Mrs. Bendlin's Class, sang Nothing More.  Mrs. Mynder's class presented information about famous peace makers in history.  The celebration was concluded by a school-wide recitation of The Peace Pledge, led by Mrs. Desplantes' class.  Special thanks to Mrs. Welsh for organizing this successful event.  Peace!
