Otisville Elementary students celebrated International Peace Day by participating in Pinwheels for Peace. The United Nations General Assembly designated September 21 as United Nations International Day of Peace.  “Partnerships for Peace – Dignity for All” is this year's UN theme.  Mrs. Hughes led students in a song and presentations were made by Mrs. Mynders, Mrs. Louey, and Mrs. Bendlin's classes.  Mrs. Frawley's class led the the student body in reciting The Peace Pledge.  Students held their pinwheels to the sky and pledged to make peace a part of their lives.

The celebration also launched Otisville Elementary School's annual PBIS program.  Mrs. Alder's class showed Otisville PRIDE as Otis, Olive, and Maggie demonstrated their best behavior.
