KINDERGARTENERS ARE BEGINNING TO BLEND SOUNDS


Learning to read is like building a skyscraper and Kindergarten is the year to construct a solid foundation.  As part of that foundation, Kindergarteners in Ms. Hewlett's class are working on understanding the relationship between sounds, letter symbols and blending. Students build words using their individual chaining folder and the classroom pocket chart using the sounds they have learned.
