Well before sitting down to their Thanksgiving dinner, Otisville students and their families, faculty and staff have been saying thanks by collecting non-perishable foods—and pajamas!

The annual OES and Orange-Ulster BOCES Pajama Drive is collecting brand-new sleepwear, newborn-adult sizes, preferably for the winter months. The Pajama Program is administered by Scholastic. Over the years, OES has helped donate over four million pajamas and books to children nationwide.

To participate, please send your items to school with your children, or dropped them off at the main office, through December 16.

New this year, OES students are asked to dress the cutout of a person with a drawing or collage of their favorite pajamas. The best decorated “person” for each grade level will be recognized at the annual Milk & Cookie celebration on Friday, Dec. 2. Party attire is pajama casual. Click here for complete details.
