Come spring of 2018, Otisville’s kindergartners can cool down from their outdoor play under the shade of three new trees.

The planting of three red maples on Friday, Nov. 3, is the result of a six-year, cooperative fundraising effort between our PTO and Recycling Club (grades 4-5).

Congratulations on your vision and perseverence, OES PTO, Laura Bendlin, Tara Frawley, and Recycling Club!

A special thanks to our buildings and grounds staff. They prepared the ground, planted the trees, and will provide the extra care needed to help establish the roots of our young maples.

With the right conditions, our maple trees can live close to a hundred years—and provide shade and enjoyment to generations of Otisville students.
