You can tell Spring has finally arrived in Mrs. Riker's classroom.  The class is blossoming with all kinds of new life.  There are praying mantis  in their nest waiting to hatch.  We will have 300 babies when they finally come out of their sack.  There are 15 eggs in the incubator - they are due to hatch on the 28th of April...  Shhh..... can you hear the peeping yet?  The kids are also excited about their painted lady caterpillars that are on their desk.  At each stage of growth students will be learning first hand how a little caterpillar turns into a beautiful butterfly.  Once all the butterflies are hatched they will be released outside Minisink Intermediate School.
