MAKING COMPLEX SCIENCE FUN TO LEARN AND EASY TO REMEMBER

High school students in Mrs. Russell’s college biology class understand that the complexity of the human body – with its many parts, systems, organs, and functions – can be a lot to take in. That’s why they combined a variety of skills and talents to present intermediate school students with a fun, interactive and memorable way to uncover the mysteries of the human body.

On the intermediate school stage, May 17-18, Mrs. Russell’s students used humorous skits, costumes, music, visual displays, slides and games to get 3rd and 5th graders excited about the science of the human body, with excellent results. Younger students were consistently engaged, posing and answering questions, and stepping on stage to be a part of this creative and effective science production.
