NEWS FROM THE PRINCIPAL

Dear Parents,
It is hard to believe that Spring is upon us. We have only three months left in the school year and we have so many more learning experiences that need to take place before the end of the year. A special thank you to Mr. Cliff Loretto, our Music teacher, for making Music in our Schools month so significant. We learned a new music fact each day, celebrated with the Bash The Trash group and learned to make instruments out of recycled materials, and a visit from our HS Chamber Choir, not to mention special music classes.
Please continue to be mindful of the weather. Although it is Spring, it is not always Spring weather. If students are not dressed appropriately for the weather, they are unable to go out for recess. Also, closed shoes or sneakers should be worn at all times. Flip flops and sandals are a safety hazard when students are out playing. They are not appropriate for an elementary school classroom.
On April 25th we will be celebrating Administrative Professional’s Day. It is a great day for us to take time out and thank our behind the scenes staff who ensure that the building runs so smoothly. Special thanks to Mrs. Cathy Malone, Mrs. Diane Super, and Mrs. Donna Kimiecek, We are grateful for all that they do and for making our front office a welcoming place to visit for students, parents, and
teachers. K-2 Report cards will be sent home on Monday, April 16th. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your child’s teacher. As always, thank you for entrusting your children to our care. Let us continue to work together, school and home to accomplish the greatest benefits for our children.
