Kindergartners at the Elementary School were granted 16 exciting treats-&-tricks at the PTO’s annual Kindergarten Fall Festival, on Monday, Oct. 24.

PTO and parent volunteers set up season-themed activity stations all around the “C” gym, and all K-students had a turn at every single one of them: pumpkin and mask decorating, leaf-scratching, pumpkin golf, eyeball and potato sack races, ghost dart and bowling games, freeze dancing—and more!

On their backs, students wore a sticker with 16 squares, one for each station. As they completed each activity, volunteers checked off the corresponding square to make sure no one missed out on the fun.

“I’m missing station 16? Where is 16?” One student asked. “It’s straight across,” answered Kylie, turning from her leaf-scratching craft to show the way. Kylie had inside knowledge; her Mom was tending one of the stations.

Many children could be heard pointing out their parents to their peers. “That’s my Mom!” “That’s my Dad!”

Students left with a brown bag packed with their crafts and Halloween goods.

A special thank you to the ES PTO and parent volunteers for a very special day and engaging event!
