On Saturday, December 19th the Warrior Varsity Wrestling program hosted and won the Jim Wilson Duals tournament. The team swept the tournament 4-0 in dual competition with Tyler Lynch, Jarred Greiner, Connor Greiner, Joe Yanis, Dominic Vetrano, Andrew Covais and A.J. Aeberli finishing undefeated. Our team scores were 64-18 (over PJ), 62-18 (over Tottenville), 54-24 (over Pearl River) and 54-25 (over Plainedge HS in the finals). Jarred Greiner won his 100th bout while Connor Greiner won the Aggregate Pin Award for the most pins in the least amount of time. A.J Aeberli was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler Award (MOW) after votes from all participating coaches were tallied.

This tournament helped us celebrate the success of 50 years of MV Wrestling. We were joined by dozens of alumni as we celebrated the success our program has had over the last five decades. Our season record thus far is 16-1 and the WARRIOR WRESTLING PROGRAM WIN-LOSS RECORD OVER THE LAST 50 YEARS IS 665-132.
