The Intermediate School Music Department invites all community members to the Winter Chorus Concert on Tuesday, December 12, at 7 p.m., in the school auditorium.

Featuring the fourth and fifth grade choirs under the direction of Danielle Cornacchio, this year’s performance will feature selections such as "Frosty the Snowman," "Don't Worry, Be Happy" and “Hot Chocolate” from the movie "The Polar Express." It is sure to be an evening of fun and good cheer!

Our school's music and chorus programs help nurture the creative, emotional and social needs of students, and play an important role in the development and education of the whole child.

On Tuesday morning, before the day concert performance for their school, two fourth graders were restless in their seats, anxious to get on stage and sing their hearts out.

“I’m so excited, I can’t wait,” said Elizabeth, who admits she’s been driving her older brother crazy, practicing her concert songs, all day long, especially her favorite, “Don’t Worry, Be Happy.”

Sitting next to Elizabeth, Dylan shared in the anticipation and the love of singing. “It’s my first time performing with the chorus. I love to sing, and my whole family is tired of listening to me at home too,” he said. Dylan’s favorite song is “Put a Little Love in your Heart.”

Our students are eager to sing for joy and to entertain you tonight. Please join us, and show them your support.
