For a moment in time, Benjamin Sinsabaugh, a third grader at Minisinsk Valley, and William Monahan, a second grader at Otisville Elementary, stole the stage at Middletown’s Paramount Theater during Toro College’s annual White Coat Ceremony, on July 26.

Their small stature notwithstanding, Ben and Will stood out among Toro’s Class of 2021—and many distinguished physicians—when they were vested with a white coat and stethoscope of their own.

Our students were selected to represent the community connection that defines the transition each freshmen class undertakes at the Toro College of Osteopathic Medicine: from medical students steeped in book knowledge, to student physicians working with people and communities.

Congratulations to our young community ambassadors, and best wishes to Toro’s entering class.
