Minisink’s boys lacrosse team is off to a great start in spite of a challenging schedule. The team stands at 8-3 as it prepares to face its divisional opponents.

We opened the 2017 season with three consecutive losses, including two against top ten teams in New Jersey and Ohio. Once back in Orange County, the team rattled off eight consecutive wins and is looking to make some noise in the sectional playoffs.

Carlos Forde is on his way to become the third leading scorer in Minisink Valley history. He needs only five more goals to reach the 170 career make that would place him third, behind former All-Americans Joe Sessa and Luke Hanson.

Upcoming contests:

  • Fri., May 5, 4:30 p.m., vs. Washingtonville
  • Thu., May 12, 4:30 p.m., vs. Cornwall
