The Minisink Valley Board of Education will hold its annual budget hearing on Thursday, May 28 at 6:30 p.m. via Google Meets.

The meeting’s purpose is to inform and present to district residents a detailed written statement regarding the district’s estimated expenditures and revenue for the upcoming school year prior to the budget vote.

As a reminder, Gov. Cuomo’s May 1 executive order states school board elections and budget votes statewide will be held by absentee ballot and tallied on June 9.

The school board elections and budget votes will all be conducted by mail and all qualified voters will be sent an absentee ballot with return postage paid.

Absentee ballots are being mail out this week, beginning May 26.
