Please be sure to complete Minisink Valley’s School Reopening Survey! Your thoughts are important as the district continues its intensive review of three various school reopening scenarios:
Scenario 1: A full return to school, with strict adherence to social distancing protocols as required by the CDC and other authorities.
Scenario 2: A return to remote learning, similar to what we experienced this spring, with adjustments made based upon many of the lessons learned from this experience.
Scenario 3: A hybrid model, which would include both in-school and remote instruction. This model would allow for a reduced daily student attendance and minimize in-person contact.

The survey closes at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 10.
As always, we know our community remains our supportive partners in this effort. The survey results will also be used by a group of committees to develop suggestions for consideration as Minisink Valley’s school reopening plan is finalized for state review. As a reminder, the ultimate decision on which scenario is adopted rests with the governor. Community members interested in volunteering to be a member of one of these committees and share their thoughts should email their name/contact information to: communications@minisink.com by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 10.
