Congratulations to high school sophomores Antonella Lombardo and Hannah Veety, for being selected to represent Minisink Valley High School at the recent Hugh O’Brien (HOBY) Youth Leadership Virtual Conference.

Each year, the school selects two sophomores who exhibit outstanding leadership qualities to represent the school.  They joined other students at the New York State virtual conference as ambassadors and collaborated with other winners to build leadership skills.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Additionally, Hannah was elected president of the HOBY Ambassador Regional Alumni Association Area 1B; and Antonella was elected its vice president.

HOBY is an organization dedicated to “training and nurturing the young leaders of tomorrow,” with a long history of successfully motivating young people to develop into outstanding leaders.
