Tickets are now on sale for the High School Drama Club’s performances of “Disney’s The Little Mermaid,” with performances on March 31, April 1 and 2 at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
In a magical kingdom beneath the sea, a beautiful young mermaid named Ariel longs to leave her ocean home to live in the world above above the sea. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl” and “Part of Your World.”

“In March 2020, the high school stage went silent just two weeks before opening night of ‘Mary Poppins,’” said Director Laura Hulle. “The High School Drama Club has been fortunate to have performed two dramatic plays since then but nothing compares to a live musical — with dancing, singing, colorful costumes, amazing sets, full tech and a live pit orchestra. Our students and production team couldn’t be more proud and excited to be making our musical comeback. We hope you are able to join us for this fun family-friendly evening.”
