Congratulations to the members of the High School's Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter who are now eligible to advance to state level competition following their success in local competitions held during the Jan. 8 FBLA District 3N Spring Meeting:

 This event is the first level of competition in New York State FBLA. First and second place winners are now eligible to advance to statewide competition in April.  

FBLA district competitions are designed to prepare students for careers in business and leadership by applying classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios; develop skills  such as communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and professionalism; encourage networking; recognize achievement and select qualifiers for state and national competitions.  

Students competed against their peers representing Carmel, John Jay, Monroe-Woodbury, Northern Academy, Tri-Valley, and Valley Central high schools.
