We are writing to share that Board President William Cooper has submitted his resignation from the Minisink Valley Board of Education, effective today, March 4.
Mr. Cooper has been a dedicated member of the Board for the past 15 years, serving on nearly every board committee along the way. Throughout his time of service, his focus has always been clear: Doing what’s best for our students to ensure they are college and career ready and helping our district continue to grow stronger for families and the community.
Please join us in thanking Mr. Cooper for his many years of commitment, leadership and service to Minisink Valley students and families.
The Board of Education is currently reviewing the next steps to address this vacancy. We will share more information with the community once a decision has been made.
