“Our student-athletes continue to demonstrate an outstanding dedication to excelling both in the classroom and in competition, and we're proud to see 25 teams earn this recognition,” said Athletic Director Tim Bult. “This achievement reflects the collective efforts of our coaches, as well as the unwavering support of our students’ parents and guardians. Their commitment to fostering success in both academics and athletics plays a vital role in helping our student-athletes reach their full potential.”
NYSPHSAA’s School of Distinction and School of Excellence Awards are intended to unite athletic departments in challenging their teams to achieve a statewide academic honor.
The high school will receive its award during the local athletic director workshop this fall. To be eligible to receive these prestigious awards, schools must submit an application following the Spring Scholar-Athlete submission each school year.
