Good morning families:

This morning, a faulty smoke detector went off at the Intermediate School around the time students were arriving.

Our firefighter partners responded quickly and assessed the situation. Our staff handled the situation calmly and professionally, following established safety procedures.

Our regular fire drills and safety training help ensure that students and staff know what to do and respond appropriately when an alarm sounds. That preparation was evident this morning as everyone followed procedures and worked together to ensure a smooth and fast response.

The building has been cleared, and normal school day operations are in place. We appreciate the quick cooperation of our students and staff and gratefully thank our firefighter partners for their rapid response.
