Thank you to the families who stopped by the Transportation Department's "Meet and Greet" today, Sept. 4! So many K-2 students and students new to the district had the chance to meet their bus drivers and see the buses they'll be taking to school. Parents and grandparents even had a chance to board the buses!

Reminder:.Tomorrow, Sept. 4 is the Transportation Department's "Meet and Greet" Day at the district's Transportation Center at 179 South Centerville Road!
K-2 students and new district students and their families will have the opportunity meet their bus drivers and see the bus which will be transporting them to and from school! We invite you to stop by!


Reminder: Today, Sept. 3, interested elementary school families can drop off their students' school supplies during these times:
Otisville Elementary: 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Intermediate/Elementary schools: 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Please be sure all supplies are appropriated labeled. Thank you.


REMINDER: Elementary school supply lists have been posted for the past eight weeks on each school's home page! NOTE: Middle school and high school students will learn what supplies may be necessary on their first day of class.

Orientation for our new faculty in all our buildings is taking place today, Aug. 29, and tomorrow, Aug. 30! They're a talented group of dedicated educators and we can't wait to see them working with our students!


We're happy to introduce you to Megan Sontag, who has been named as an assistant principal at the high school beginning in the 2024-25 school year. Mrs. Sontag served as interim high school assistant principal since last February prior to her appointment as assistant principal earlier this summer.

Learning the ropes: High School Administration hosted Freshman Orientation today, Aug. 27, spending time with the school's newest students (and some parents) to make sure they knew of and understood all that's expected of them from an academic and behavioral perspective!

Reminder! Today is Otisville's ‘Kindergarten Playground Fun with the Principals’ afternoon, from 1 to 2 p.m. Incoming kindergarten families....don't miss out!


Middle School families: Reminder ---today, Aug. 27, is the second of two “Walk Your Schedule” days! We invite your student to visit and become familiar/re-familiar with the building and class locations! The building is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Please call the school with any questions!

Time and time again, our Buildings & Grounds team shows us why they are the best in the business! After completing important annual training last Friday, our crew gathered for a special lunch to thank them and recognize their efforts to keep the buildings and grounds on the Slate Hill and Otisville campuses always in immaculate shape!
