Congratulations to the seven High School Winter 2026 sports teams who have been named by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) as Team-Scholar Award recipients.
At the end of each sports season, the NYSPHSAA honors those teams and individuals that excel in the classroom, and recognizes them for their academic success. To qualify as a team, 75% of a team’s average GPA for the season must be equal to or greater than 90%.
"Congratulations to our student-athletes, their coaches, and families for their dedicated efforts," said Athletic Director Tim Bult. "This combination of achievement reflects our student-athletes’ discipline and time management but also their commitment to excelling both on the field and in the classroom — a standard that requires focus, teamwork and perseverance.”
