Class of 2026 Graduation details announced

Class of 2026 families:

We're happy to share Class of 2026 graduation activities:

Baccalaureate

  • Monday, June 22 at 7 p.m. in the High School Auditorium.

  • Seniors will meet in the High School Cafeteria 6:15 p.m.

  • Seniors are required to wear their caps and gowns.

  • Attendance is not mandatory, but is very well attended by the Senior Class.

Graduation Day

  • Senior Breakfast, hosted by Kiwanis, at 8 a.m. on Friday, June 26 in the High School Cafeteria

  • Attendance is not mandatory, but is very well attended by the Senior Class.

  • Graduation Rehearsal from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon in High School Auditorium. This event is MANDATORY. Seniors must must attend to walk in the graduation ceremony.

  • Graduation: Friday, June 26 at 6 p.m. on the John Bell Football Field.

  • Seniors will need to arrive at the High School Auditorium by 4:30 p.m.

  • Seniors are required to wear caps and gowns.

  • Graduation will be livestreamed for all to watch. (Watch for more details on the district's Facebook page. Livestream to begin at approximately 5:45 p.m.)

  • Drones are NOT permitted on campus or at the ceremony

Weather Decision (if inclement weather is predicted)

  • If we need to move the graduation ceremony to Saturday, June 27, we will make a decision by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 26 and announce the change on this website, the district's Facebook page and app..

  • If we move to Saturday, the plan will be to host the ceremony outside at 1 p.m. on the football field. If inclement weather is predicted for Saturday, the ceremony will be moved into the High School Gym. Seniors will need to arrive at the high school by 11:30 a.m.

  • Inside the gym, graduation will mean the following:

    • Limited gym seating will mean each senior will be given three admittance tickets for guests to enter the gym.

    • Other guests will be able to watch graduation in the High School Auditorium (projected on screen). Space is limited in the auditorium, and seating will be first come first served, entrance will be limited to fire code capacity.

    • Graduation will be livestreamed for all to watch. The link will be available on the Minisink Facebook page at approximately 12:45 p.m.

Project Graduation

  • Project Graduation party will take place on Friday, June 26 at the High School from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m.

  • Seniors are able to bring one guest (ages 14-20) and must pre-register the guest with the class advisors. (cost for guest: $5)

  • This event will take place as scheduled rain or shine.

  • Attendance is not mandatory, but is very well attended by the Senior Class.
