2023 New York State “Teacher of the Year” finalist Jonathan Clemmons was honored by the Board of Education and area elected officials for his achievement during the board’s Oct. 19 meeting.
Board of Education President Joseph Flaherty presented Mr. Clemmons with a crystal recognition keepsake to recognize his accomplishment.
Additionally, Orange County Legislator Janet Sutherland presented Mr. Clemmons with an Orange County Distinguished Service Award.
New York State Assemblyman Karl Brabenec presented Mr. Clemmons with a New York State Assembly Proclamation.
