Congratulations and best wishes to the Minisink Valley Class of 2023!
Ceremonies were held tonight, June 23, on the football field before thousands of cheering family members and friends, who gathered to celebrate members of the Class of 2023 and to wish them a lifetime of good health, happiness, success, personal and professional fulfillment.
Rainy weather was a threat all day. But as luck would have it, a window of time for only cloudy skies was forecast to take place during the scheduled time for commencement ceremonies.
Administration and student speeches were able to take place along with the long-anticipated roll call of names, with just a handful of names left to be announced before heavy rain fell. The rain didn’t dampen the spirits of anyone on campus, who were thrilled that a community ceremony on the football field could take place for all who were interested in attending.
The rain did cut short the intended announcement of scholarship recipients. They are:
