The high school’s National Honor Society students have delivered student/family/staff donations collected during their recent drives to support Pediatric Oncology Awareness in September; and Breast Cancer Awareness in October.
Students delivered crayons and coloring books to Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla; and donations of socks, blankets and reading materials at Garnet Medical Center in Middletown Center!
“Thank you to everyone in our school community for their donations to support patients undergoing treatment,” said Superintendent Brian Monahan. “Your kindness and generosity will make a difference and again demonstrates how giving our Minisink Valley school community is. Your support of the good work of our National Honor Society students is also greatly appreciated. Not only did NHS students spearhead these drives, they also delivered all donations to both health care facilities.”
