Class of 2023 families:

Like you, we’re aware of possible weather issues for the Class of 2023’s graduation for this Friday, June 23. Weather forecasts do change, and all of us will know more in the coming days.

Our plan currently remains hosting our graduation ceremony on the football field this Friday. However, we want you to be aware of alternate plans should weather become an issue on June 23:

Weather Plans (if inclement weather is predicted)

• If we need to move the graduation ceremony to Saturday, June 24, we will make a decision by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, June 23 and announce the change on the district’s website , Facebook page  and the district’s app.
• If we move graduation to Saturday, the plan will be to host the ceremony outside on the football field at 1 p.m.
• However,  if inclement weather is predicted for Saturday, the ceremony will be moved to the high school gym.
• If graduation is held in the gym, this means:
  • Limited gym seating will mean each senior will be given 3 admittance tickets for guests to enter the gym.
  • Other guests will be able to watch graduation in the high school auditorium (projected on screen).
  • Space is limited in the auditorium, and seating will be first come first, entrance will be limited to fire code capacity.

The graduation ceremony will be live streamed for all to watch no matter what the weather is via the district’s Facebook page.
