Minisink Valley is “Going Pink” to support breast cancer awareness!

October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month! Please encourage your student to be part of this effort to bring attention to the ongoing need for research and funding to combat breast cancer!

Now through Tuesday, Oct. 26: Please consider donating socks, blankets and items like crossword puzzle books to the high school National Honor Society service project of collecting these items and bringing them to breast cancer patients having treatment at Garnet Medical Center in MIddletown. (Garnet staff specifically requested these items.) Pink boxes will soon be in each school building, created by NHS students!

Tuesday, Oct. 26: Students, faculty and staff are invited to wear pink to show their support! We’ll be creating a photo gallery to share, please email your student’s pink attire photos to communications@minisink.com!
