Congratulations to the Eighth-Grade Band and Chorus, who earned a rating of “Excellent” at the May 19 “Trills and Thrills Music Festival at Six Flags New England.”

Both groups performed selections from their spring concert for a panel of judges. In addition to the “Excellent” rating, both groups received high marks on student musicianship and technique.

It was a wonderful day of great music and camaraderie,” said Band Director Laura Hulle.” We could not be more proud of how our eighth-graders represented Minisink Valley in performance and in the park.”
