Form available for families expecting, but yet to receive, 2021 pandemic food benefits

New York State’s Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance (OTDA) is providing Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) food benefits to all households with children who were eligible to receive Free and Reduced-Price meals under the National School Lunch Act and whose school was closed or operating with reduced in-school attendance due to COVID-19 during the 2020-2021 academic year.

The OTDA’s issuance of the P-EBT benefit commenced in June and continued through the remainder of 2021 due to the large number of eligible children and schools participating in the National School Lunch Program across the state.

If a parent or guardian believes their child(ren) is eligible and they have not received their P-EBT benefit by Jan. 31, 2022, they may fill out the OTDA’s P-EBT Information Form at such time.
