High school sprint medley team breaks 44-year school record while qualifying for March 13 indoor national championship meet

Congratulations to the Minisink Valley sprint medley team for breaking a 44-year school record which also qualified them for the upcoming Indoor National Championships at The Armory in New York City on March 13.

Dennis Neidhardt, Adam Burger, Steve Struk and Chalen Bobish ran an official fully automatic timing (FAT) of 3:38.92. Individual times were:  Dennis: 23.34; Adam: 24.84; Steve: 53.04; and Chalen:  1:57.68.

The previous time was 3:41.70 set in 1976 by Gary Perkowski, Steve Perkowski, Sam Tucker and Larry Ferrier.
