High School students achieve success at 2024 NYS FBLA State Leadership Conference

Congratulations to the eight High School Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) members for their outstanding performances at the recent New York State FBLA (State Leadership Conference (SLC) in Rochester.

All competitors placing 1st through 4th qualify to attend the National FBLA Competition in Orlando at the end of June.

FBLA logoOver 700 FBLA members from over 50 schools across the state. attended, including 15 Minisink Valley chapter members.  Students also attended workshops, heard guest speakers and networked with other FBLA members.

The New York State FBLA division is open to students in grades 9-12, enrolled in a business or business-related course.  This division helps high school students prepare for careers in business through academic competitions, leadership development, and educational programs.  Experiences are tailored to individual members to ensure that they gain knowledge, skills, experiences, and behaviors they need to be successful after high school.
