Congratulations to High School FBLA members Nataly Pena and Jada Vail, who have advanced to the FBLA national competition level following their outstanding performance at the recent New York State FBLA State Leadership Conference.

Competing against FBLA members from all over New York State, Nataly placed second in the “accounting” event and Jada placed third in the “public speaking” event.

“I am very proud of Nataly and Jada for their tremendous accomplishment,” said FBLA advisor Seth Johnson. “They continue the tradition of Minisink Valley FBLA members excelling at the State Leadership Conference. These two outstanding young ladies will do a wonderful job representing our school and FBLA chapter at the National Leadership Conference.”

Over 600 students statewide participated in different events. FBLA competitive events also prepare students for successful careers in business by providing opportunities to apply classroom concepts in a workforce-simulated competitive environment.
