High school’s FBLA club seeks community donations for front line medical worker care packages

Care packageThe Minisink Valley High School FBLA is creating care packages for front line medical workers at Garnet Health Medical Center, formerly known as Orange Regional Medical Center, and is asking for community donations.

The group is seeking donations of bottled water; lip balm, “on-the-go” snacks; hair ties; foot soap and soaks; scissors; Sharpie pens; hand lotions; portable chargers; face and hand wipes; and instant coffee packets.

The group is also looking for people to donate gel insoles; small thermos; mask headbands (with button); Tiger Balm and compression socks.

Additionally, the group will include handwritten thank you notes from anyone.

Items can be dropped off at Minisink Valley High School Dec. 14 to 18 during school hours.

Donations will also be accepted after school on the following days:
Monday, Dec. 14 from 2:45 to 5 p.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 15 from 2:45 to 4 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 16 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Thursday, Dec. 17 from 2:45 to 4 p.m.

Care packages will be put together and dropped off to Garnet on Friday, Dec. 18.
