High School’s FBLA participates in annual ‘Adopt-a-Highway’ cleanup project

FBLA membersThe Minisink Valley chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) has continued its long-standing tradition of participating in the “Adopt-a-Highway” program. Because of the group’s efforts, over 40 pounds of waste from U.S. Route 6 was recently collected.

Every October, the high school’s FBLA undertakes this community service project. The group has been involved in the “Adopt-a-Highway” project for over 20 years.

“Minisink Valley FBLA is very proud to participate in this program,” said advisor Seth Johnson. “Our students are always willing to graciously volunteer their time to serve the community.”
