High school’s Key Club thanks Garnet Health and Crystal Run healthcare heroes on National Nurses Day

students with Garnet Healthcare nursesThe Minisink Valley High School Key Club delivered food to Garnet Health Urgent Care and Crystal Run Urgent Care on May 6 in recognition of  National Nurses Day.

“I had so much fun putting this together for our wonderful nurses and urgent care staff,” said Key Club Vice President Sargun Cheema. “I’m so glad we could give back and show them some appreciation for everything they do!”

Key Club International, also called Key Club, is an international service organization for high school students.  As a student-led organization, Key Club’s goal is to encourage leadership through serving others. Key Club International is the high school branch of the Kiwanis International and is sponsored locally by the Minisink Valley  Kiwanis Club.

“It was so nice to see smiles and thank all the healthcare heroes,” added club advisor Jodi VanDervoort.
